TOM Stoltman has been crowned the World’s Strongest Man for the third time in four years.

After being denied a third consecutive title last year by Canadian Mitchell Hooper the 29-year-old from Invergordon successfully sealed his third title of World’s Strongest Man.

The Scotsman is only the second person to win three titles and is tied with American Bill Kazmaeir for third on the all-time winners list.

Mariusz Pudzianowski holds the record with five championships.

Stoltman finished on 53 points after a busy week in South Carolina as the competition came down to the wire.

The Scot beat second-placed Hooper by a small margin of 5.5 points.

Best known in the sport as “The Albatross”, due to the 6-foot-8 strongman’s enormous wingspan, some of his best events are those which involve lifting and carrying heavy objects like the Atlas stone run.

it was in the final event which involved the Atlas Stones where he clinched his third title. Stoltman was the first ever Scotsman to win the event back in 2020 after making his debut in 2019 where he finished in the top five.
