EDINBURGH Craft Beer Festival is returning to the city in May.
The event, which runs on May 25 to 27, includes more than 40 breweries, music and food by Pitt Street Market.
More than 300 beers will be served from Scottish, American and Scandinavian breweries.
Event organisers, Greg Wells and Dan Sylvester, have increased the size of the event this year with 3000 tickets available.
DJ sets include Mogwai, as well as DJ Don Letts of BBC 6 Music fame, Two Door Cinema Club and cult group Metronomy.
There will also be street food organised in partnership with Pitt Street Market. The Buffalo Truck – winners of the Scottish Street Food Awards 2017 – will be joining Barnacles and Bones, Pizza Geeks and more.
Wells said: “We’re proud to be bringing back our unique combination of the best craft beer, brilliant music acts and locally-sourced street food, all under one roof. This year’s hand-picked line-up is not something you’ll
want to miss.”
Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
