WE’VE got another special competition for our readers! We have FOUR pairs of tickets to give away for the Fringe smash, Alex Salmond... Unleashed, which is going on tour across Scotland.

Alex Salmond Unleashed – The Tour will start at the Tivoli Theatre in Aberdeen on October 14 with performances at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.

The show will then go to Inglewood House in Alloa on October 20, again with two performances, at 3pm and 7pm before finishing in Galashiels at the Volunteer Hall on November 24 at 7.30pm. (We’ll be running another competition for Galashiels closer to the time).

You can win a ticket for you and a friends for the first shows in Aberdeen and Alloa by taking part in our caption competition. Just send a caption for the photo above – and say whether you’d like to go to Aberdeen or Alloa – to submissions@thenational.scot to be in with a chance of winning.

The winners are in for a treat. Comedian Des Clarke, who proved a smash with his devastating impression of Donald Trump, will be joining Salmond on stage, as will Janey Godley, the Glaswegian comedian and writer.

There will be music from the great Scottish folk musician Sheena Wellington and Salmond’s “house band” The Carloways will also feature. Salmond said: “We’re doing it simply because we had so many requests to take the show round the country, and we are taking it to venues that hopefully will allow people who couldn’t get to Edinburgh to come and see the show. Hopefully we will go even further in the spring, I’m sure.”

We’ll be choosing the best five and announcing the winners on Tuesday so share this article and get your friends sending in their captions!

Tickets for the Aberdeen shows are nearly sold out – you can find out how to snap up one of the last few on page 21 of today’s paper.
