PUTTING the “luxe” in luxurious, Fèleil offers high quality sleepwear with relaxed glamour in mind.
Born out of a search to find the perfect pyjamas, Fèleil was founded by two Scottish sisters, Katrina Hood and Fiona MacSween.
Initially pursuing further education in very different industries, Hood studied Architecture while MacSween studied Business at the University of Edinburgh.
Returning to Scotland following stints in Copenhagen and London, the sisters established a gap in the market for stylish and affordable sleepwear.
Proceeding months saw Hood and MacSween combine their design and business skills to create Fèleil. After spending a great deal of time on the research and design process, the brand partnered with a manufacturer based near Porto to bring the products to life.
Fèleil’s debut collection was launched at the beginning of November this year.
“Our aim is to bring a touch of luxury to the simple things in life. The name Fèleil is derived from the Scottish Gaelic word fèilleil which translates as ‘desirable and much sought after’ – perfectly reflecting the brand heritage and ethos. We believe the popularity of evenings in, browsing the internet and the rise in the number of people working from home have all contributed to the rise in demand for beautiful and comfortable sleep and loungewear”.
Designed in Scotland and produced in Portugal, Fèleil’s first collection is of the highest quality with great attention to detail and the perfect finish.
The brand’s products have been inspired by the sisters’ Scottish roots and family ties to the Western Isles. They are a reflection of the many holidays they spent around the West Coast and Outer Hebrides.
The colour palette and names selected for the pyjamas channel the ever changing nature of Scotland’s landscape and the heritage from which the idea was born.
In addition to creating gorgeous sleep and loungewear, Fèleil focuses heavily on the gifting market. The sisters have spent many hours creating the perfect gift packaging for their products, from the customised tissue paper right down to the stickers.

Hood and MacSween believe that pyjamas are traditionally given as gifts at Christmas and special occasions such as weddings and bridal parties. Together, the sisters hope to captivate this market through the offering of their unique and stylish designs.
Offering products designed for lounging, sleeping and everything in between, Fèleil truly does produce luxury sleepwear perfect for any occasion.
