Fuzzystar
Taking the name from an appreciation of the bands Big Star and Mazzy Star, Edinburgh-based artist Andy Thomson has been playing solo and in various line-ups as Fuzzystar for years. After a stint in London, Thomson has recently returned to Scotland and releases an album, Telegraphing, later this month. Referring to the album’s title, Thomson explains that the songs are about a “mix of love, loss miscommunication, feelings of alienation or being disconnected” and the title track is available for exclusive streaming from The National's website from today.
