Pointless Celebrities, BBC One, 7.30pm
ALEXANDER Armstrong and his “Pointless friend” Richard Osman present another star-studded edition of the unorthodox general knowledge quiz, this time inviting a selection of popular impressionists to compete. Seeking to emerge with the least points are The Big Impression double-act Alistair McGowan and Ronni Ancona, Dead Ringers co-stars Jon Culshaw and Jan Ravens, Rory Bremner and his Coalition Report collaborator Matt Forde, and Britain’s Got Talent comedy veterans Francine Lewis and Danny Posthill.

Blind Date, C5, 8.30pm
ONCE more, contestants must choose between three unseen suitors based on their answers to a series of questions. OK, it won’t tax the brain, but if you want a nostalgic show given a 21st-century spin, then this is bound to make your heart beat a little faster. And fingers crossed this new run will generate romance for those brave participants. With this and host Paul O’Grady’s Sunday teatime Radio 2 show, fans are in for a treat.

Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2018, BBC2, 9pm
THE Royal Academy of Arts’ Summer Exhibition is the world’s oldest open submission show, allowing anyone to put forward their work for consideration. As it reaches its 250th year, Kirsty Wark and Jayson Mansaray (both pictured, right) follow the preparations for the annual art extravaganza. They meet this year’s curator, the artist Grayson Perry, and follow a handful of aspiring artists, including celebrities Harry Hill, Joe Lycett and Una Stubbs, who submitted their work in the hope of being selected for a place in this hallowed institution.
