FOR many, driving lessons are anxiety-inducing enough without the presence of cameras. So, we should at least appreciate the bravery of the celebrity students in this series as TOWIE’s James “Arg” Argent, The Vamps’ drummer Tristan Evans and Coronation Street’s Mikey North all attempt to ditch the L plates. But will courage be enough, especially since Arg is yet to pass his theory test? Meanwhile, in this opening episode, Mikey is struggling with hill starts.
Nadiya’s Family Favourites, BBC2, 8pm
FORMER Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussain demonstrates dishes ideal for when hungry friends and family appear at the door unexpectedly, including radish ceviche with avocado and toasted sourdough, and caramel soda bread tear and share. Nadiya’s love of fudge takes her to Wiltshire where she meets Jen Gale, while her appreciation for sour things lands her at the Vinegar Shed in London with experts Andy Harris and Angela Clutton.
Reported Missing, BBC1, 9pm
NEW series. The return of the documentary following attempts to find missing people. In Macclesfield, Cheshire, a man reports his five-year-old son Tyler missing, having not seen him in two years after a custody dispute with the boy’s mother. Things take a sinister twist when she denies the child exists. In Runcorn, PCs John Carter and Jason Hough try to track down 16-year-old Patrick, who left his mum Victoria a note revealing he had got himself into debt and needed to go away.
Undercover Girlfriends, Channel 5, 10pm
CHANNEL 5 may be showing Celebrity Big Brother but that doesn’t mean they aren’t also on the hunt for the next Love Island. This new reality series follows five men as they are whisked to Marbella for what they think is a documentary about lads on holiday. What they don’t know is their girlfriends have also made the trip and are staying next door watching their every move. Over the five episodes, the girls will be using technology and the occasional disguise to put their boyfriends to the test. Will the lads work out what is going on, and will any of the relationships will survive?
