A PACK of sculptures of Afghan hounds curiously paired with domestic appliances feature in a new installation by Berlin artist Anna Lucia Nissen at the CCA in Glasgow.

Entitled Therefore 2, it is a development of Nissen’s 2015 Glasgow School of Art Master of Fine Art degree show, and transforms everyday objects and symbols into a series of sonic sculptures.

The installation is on view from today until Saturday and there are performances each evening at 8.30pm, featuring video projection and live music.

The installation features a remix cycle from Guy Lee and each evening is centred around a different musical performance, with artists including Richard Youngs and 2012 Turner prize-nominee Luke Fowler, remixing a selection of songs from Womanmann band, made up of Nissen – who is pictured with one of her real-life dog models, Josh – and fellow Glasgow School of Art graduate Alex Rathbone.

The installation can be seen free while tickets for the performances cost £8 (£5 concessions) plus a £1 booking fee.
