Heidi’s show at Slam tomorrow (£8), Prosumer’s appearance at Subculture on Saturday (£12) and the release of GE by Lazaros, the second EP on the club’s in-house record label Nautilus Rising, are among the other highlights on a packed weekend for the Jamaica Street basement.

The capital has its share of bank holiday clubbing options too, with Notsosilent’s residents' party at Sneaky Pete’s (£5/members free) of particular note tomorrow.
London noisemonger Perc returns to Pulse at The Mash House on Saturday (£8), while a softer-edged but no less danceable set is likely from Running Back/Ghostly International affiliate Fort Romeau, who plays Tweak over at Cabaret Voltaire on the same night (£8/10).
Up in Aberdeen, meanwhile, the long weekend’s best options come on Sunday, with Bell Towers and David Barbarossa among the guests at Gnossienne & House Of House’s all-dayer at Rye and Soda Terrace (2pm to 2am, free).
Strictly 4/4 welcome Alan Fitzpatrick to The Tunnels on the same evening (£12/18).
All clubs run from 11pm to 3am unless otherwise stated

Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
Callum Baird, Editor of The National
