TICKETS are selling like hotcakes for The National’s not-to-be-missed roadshow in Paisley, featuring a live conversation with the UK’s youngest MP, Mhairi Black, and our consultant editor Richard Walker, on Friday, February 3.

Make sure you’re not left disappointed without a seat at this top event at Paisley Arts Centre which kicks off at 7.30pm. Book your tickets, priced £4 to cover the cost of the venue, at the centre’s box office.

Walker will quiz Black, who is the local MP,and a weekly columnist with The National, about independence, Brexit, social justice and more, and there will be an opportunity for the audience to put their questions.

Readers can also submit questions they would like us to put to Black on the night through our roadshow email or by post. The audience will also find out what makes the Paisley and Renfrewshire South MP tick.

Black said: “When I heard that The National was going on tour I was eager for it to visit Paisley, and indeed a few people asked me to make sure it did!

“It is an extremely exciting time in the history of Paisley, with the bid for City of Culture 2021 ongoing, and I’m so excited that The National is able to come along and witness everything that is going on. I am so pleased that the roadshow visit will conclude a question and answer session with myself, as one of their weekly columnists.”

Submit questions you want to ask Black on the night by sending them to roadshow@thenational.scot.
