BUDGET airline Ryanair yesterday marked its return to Aberdeen Airport by launching flights to Alicante and Malaga as part of its summer 2017 schedule. The schedule was also include a route to Faro, to begin in May, which is expected to bring 75,000 customers per year to the airport.

In a statement, Ryanair identified the three new destinations available in its summer schedule, as well as lower fares, lower fuel costs and an improved customer experience.

The schedule will comprise of two flights to Alicante each week; two weekly flights to Faro and two flights to Malaga per week, throughout the summer.

Ryanair’s head of communications Robin Kiely said: “Our low fare routes will deliver 75,000 customers through Aberdeen Airport this year.”
