A SCOTTISH restaurant chain that donates all its profits to good causes has opened its fourth venue.

The Boozy Cow Dundee officially has now officially opened, with philanthropist Garreth Wood revealing that a further five charities will receive a share of profits from The Boozy Cow restaurants.

Announcing the new charity partnerships, Wood said Boozy Cow would include in its profit sharing Hot Chocolate Trust, Mid-Lin Day Care, Dundee Woman’s Aid, Art Angel and Help for Kids.

This now brings the number of good causes the company supports to eighteen.

Last month, Boozy Cow announced it was giving away £210,000 in profits to charities including CHAS, The Archie Foundation and the Youth and Philanthropy Initiative in Edinburgh, with almost half a million pounds given away since the company opened its first venue in Aberdeen in 2014.

Wood said the response from people in Dundee to the opening of the new restaurant had been overwhelming and that he had “never before experienced such intense interest in a venue.

He added: “I’m immensely excited about our new Dundee venue. It’s clear the people of Dundee are too.”
