The Icon Awards celebrating Scotland's thriving LGBT community are back for the third year and now open for nominations from the public.
The awards, sponsored by the Sunday Herald, have a wide range of categories to recognise the work of companies, individuals and organisations who have championed diversity and inclusion across the country.
These include the Role Model of the Year, Businessperson of the Year and the ever-coveted Employer of the Year. New categories for 2017 also include Diversity and Inclusion Manager of the Year and Straight Ally of the Year.
The winners will be recognised at a Gala Final being held on Friday 8 September at Glasgow's Hilton Hotel and hosted by interior design expert John Amabile.
Chair Scott Barclay said: “I am thrilled that the Icon Awards will be returning for our third year where we will once again reward and recognise those who have gone above and beyond to champion diversity and the LGBT community in Scotland.
“Over the last two years we have seen some truly inspirational people and organisations being rewarded for the work in the fields of diversity and inclusion such as Tesco Bank, Karen Dunbar, Michelle Visage and Mel Young, founder of the Homeless World Cup.”
