TIME is fast running out to sign up for Scotland’s leading international aid charity’s first-ever 5km family fun run to raise money for Sciaf’s life-changing work on poverty in Africa, Asia and Latin America.

Loads of supporters have already registered to take part in the event on Saturday, June 24, at Strathclyde Country Park in Motherwell but there’s still time to get in on the action. There will also be face painting, music, games, home baking and stalls.

Sciaf director Alistair Dutton said: “Whether you run, walk or sponsor someone, you have the opportunity to help some of the poorest communities in the world to get the help they need to grow more food, earn a living and create a better future. I urge everyone to come along to Sciaf’s 5km in Strathclyde Country Park. It’ll be a great day.”
