THREE pictures of Scottish scenery have earned those who took them top prizes at this year’s Take a View Landscape Photographer of the Year Awards.

A skating half-pipe beneath the glow of the Northern Lights won 15-year-old Andrew Bulloch from Edinburgh the Young Landscape Photographer of the Year title.

Graham Niven – also from the capital – scooped the VisitBritain “home of amazing moment” Award for his shot of an early morning boat trip on Loch Garten.

Completing the trio of Scottish winners was George Robertson, who took home top prize in the Urban View category for his shot of the industrial landscape at Grangemouth, Stirlingshire.

The awards were held in association with VisitBritain and the “Great” campaign to showcase moments and experiences that can only be enjoyed in Britain.
