AN Aberdeen-headquartered oil and gas services company has secured two multi-million pound contracts in the Middle East, hard on the heels of a previous success.

Tendeka, a global leader in advanced completions and production optimisation, had already announced an award by the Kuwait Oil Company (KOC).  It has now added agreements with the Abu Dhabi Onshore Operations Company (ADCO) and Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) which will involve the supply of a range of specialised inflow control technologies.

These technologies enable the effective management of the reservoir in horizontal wells to increase productivity and improve oil recovery.

Scott Watters, Tedenka’s chief operating officer, said: “These two awards from ADCO and PDO, following on from our entry in to Kuwait, have firmly established Tendeka in the Gulf.

“Our differentiating and innovative FloSure technology, combined with our global supply chain capability, has enabled us to bring real value to these major regional national  oil companies.”

Tendeka is the world leader in inflow control devices technology and has installed more than 7000 passive ICDs and 20,000 autonomous ICDs globally.

Established in 2009, it operates 18 strategically positioned bases, located at energy hubs around  the world from the North Sea  to Asia-Pacific and the Middle East to the USA.
