HARRY POTTER: 20 YEARS OF MAGIC, C5, 9PM

IN 1997, a children’s book called Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone hit bookshelves with relatively little fanfare – author JK Rowling had initially struggled to even find a publisher. This documentary charts 20 years of Pottermania, looking at how the novels about the boy wizard became so popular that children and adults would queue overnight outside bookshops to get their hands on the latest instalment.
