Donald Trump said the attacks had been 'perfectly executed'
DONALD Trump has celebrated the bombing of targeted zones in Syria the only way he knows how ... with a tweet.
The US president took to the social media site to praise the "perfectly executed" attacks, adding that it was "mission accomplished".
Early this morning, the UK joined the US and France in bombing three Syrian government sites, in response to reports of a chemical weapons attack on the town of Douma.
The tweet echoes the words of one of his predecessors George W Bush, who gave an infamous speech under a banner which read "Mission Accomplished" shortly after the invasion of Iraq.
