QUESTION Time is being broadcast broadcast from Chesterfield tonight, and – other than a lack of Nigel Farage – you shouldn't be too shocked by who's appearing.

There will be two journalists and three politicians on the panel, but again, no SNP politician will be appearing.

Despite being the third biggest party in Westminster, it appears SNP MP Stewart McDonald's appearance two episodes ago was an anomaly rather than a trend.

Instead, tonight the BBC political show will give us:

  • Liz Truss, Conservative MP and Chief Secretary to the Treasury
  • Emily Thornberry, Labour MP and shadow foreign secretary
  • Vince Cable, leader of the LibDems
  • Nesrine Malik, Guardian columnist and former private equity investor faced with deportation in 2012
  • Iain Dale, LBC presenter and author

It's more than a month till the show makes a trip to Scotland, but will another SNP politician appear before then?
