WE ran a story today reporting on a poll which found Scots watching the World Cup this year are most likely to be supporting England.
Our friends from south of the Border ranked first, ahead of Brazil, Spain, Egypt and Germany, who make up the rest of the top five.

The Opinium survey, carried out last month, polled 2000 "nationally representative UK respondents", and also found that 52% of Scots would be watching the tournament.
The result has been met with some hilarious responses (and scepticism) on social media – some have even suggested a few locations the sample could have been drawn from.
So, we thought we'd give you a chance to have your say more directly. We've listed the top four from the survey, and if your option is one of the other teams, you can vote other and leave it as a reply in the comments below!
Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
