TWO prize-winning artists have joined forces to create an exhibition showcasing the beauty of the Scottish landscape and the North Coast 500 route.

Glasgow-based Judith Bridgland and Anne Morrison have interpreted the breathtaking scenery of the north of the country in different ways – Bridgland with vibrant and energetic paintings, and Morrison through ceramic sculptures and studio pottery.

“The landscape of our beautiful country and the North Coast 500 route is an absolute gift to any artist,” Bridgland said. “It’s dramatic and vital and full of potential and hope.”

Morrison has produced an elegant collection of distinctive studio pottery for the show, as well as sculptural pieces which incorporate found objects and natural driftwood.

The exhibition, entitled North Coast Gems, will be at the Strathearn Gallery in Crieff from June 2-27 and the Anna Gallery in Glasgow from June 30-July 22.
