THE Scottish Tories were in the firing line at First Minister's Questions.

Labour's Neil Bibby, MSP for Paisley, raised the issue of his constituent Denzel Darku, who carried the Queen's baton ahead of the 2014 Commonwealth Games. The staff nurse is facing an uncertain future because of visa issues.

Bibby said he is a victim of the Home Office's "bogus migration targets".

Before responding to the question, Sturgeon criticised the Tory MSPs' "shameful" response to Bibby's question.
