Charlie and Craig Reid of The Proclaimers are supporting the new fund
THE Scottish Independence Foundation (SIF) will promote the cause of independence by offering financial support to grassroots campaigns – and it has already attracted the backing of The Proclaimers.
Charlie and Craig Reid, committed suporters of the Yes movement, recorded a video to welcome people to the website and encourage them to donate or apply.

Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
