IN a remarkable coup, a small village in the Scottish Borders will tonight host the first performance in Scotland by Lee Ridley, better known as Lost Voice Guy, after his stunning victory in the final of Britain’s Got Talent at the weekend.

West Linton is currently holding its annual Whipman summer festival which features an annual comedy show run by the Over The Lyne comedy club. Lost Voice Guy will join local host Jeannie Jones, and bill-topper Gavin Webster in performing in a marquee on the village green.

The club booked Ridley long before the Newcastle comic wowed BGT audiences onwith his hilarious routines as the Lost Voice Guy – he has cerebral palsy and has to deliver his lines via a computer.

West Linton resident Deb Armstrong said: “So glad we got tickets and can’t wait to see him. He inspires as well as make us laugh.”
