THE Scottish NHS was a key topic of debate at First Minister's Questions, and it culminated in a clash between Willie Rennie and Nicola Sturgeon.

Labour's branch office leader Richard Leonard first raised the subject, citing a government failure to entirely end delayed discharge. He was accused of playing politics, because much progress had been made in tackling what is a challenging issue.

And the Scottish LibDem leader went on a similar – but broader – line, listing a range of issues in the NHS and asking the First Minister to admit the Scottish Government had failed patients.

Sturgeon responded with her own barrage of positive statistics, so Rennie followed-up, and was in turn reminded of his party's relationship with the Tories...
