YOUNG people across Scotland awoke today to their exam results - and to their potential futures.
However, not everyone may have got the results they were hoping for.
While most folk will eventually look back and see that an unwanted grade wasn't the end of the world for them, it's fair to say that in the moment it can feel like it.
That's why people have been taking to Twitter to share what they did after school regardless of their grades, under the #NoWrongPath tag.
Here are some of our favourite stories so far:
I still remember the day I got a D & 2E’s for my A-Levels - since then I’ve done three degrees & had 5 careers - Best of Luck today 👌 but remember you have one life live it to the full #NoWrongPath #examresults2018 #SQAresults pic.twitter.com/OfONCH9LLY

Left school at 15, went to college as a mature student, I now have a 1st class honours degree in contemporary art practice and I'll be starting my masters in September. Life is about the journey, what you experience and who you meet along the way 😉x #ExamResults #NoWrongPath

Did higher chemistry because I thought I wanted to do something relating to biology. I went to university to study geography and picked social policy up as an extra subject. I'm currently living in New Zealand working for the @minhealthnz. Good luck for exam results! #nowrongpath

Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
Callum Baird, Editor of The National
