EVER wanted to be read a bedtime story by the manager of one of Scotland’s top clubs?

Now you can after Derek McInnes, manager of Aberdeen, agreed to help participants at the Social Bite Sleep in the Park in the north-east city doze off by reading out a tale of his choosing.

Also taking part in the charity event – aimed at raising funds to combat homelessness – will be Aberdeen defender Mark Reynolds, club chairman Stewart Milne and director Duncan Skinner.

The event, which takes place on December 8, is one of four Sleep in the Park sleepouts taking place in different Scottish cities on the same night. In total, it is hoped that 12,000 people will sleep out in Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow, raising £6 million.
