City dominated from the outset
GLASGOW City produced a fine display to thrash Hamilton Academical 12-0 yesterday to remain top of the SWPL.
Leanne Ross was on fire with four goals and Abbi Grant and Susan Fairlie chipped in with a brace each.
Clare Shine, Jo Love, Emma Black and Denise O’Sullivan also got their names on the scoresheet as the Scottish champions ran riot.
Hamilton were content to sit deep in an attempt to limit space and frustrate their opponents but despite being well-organised and disciplined, they were under siege from the outset.
City zipped the ball around with purpose and utilised their energetic full-backs. Black and Ross, to full effect.
