ROSS County boss Jim McIntyre expects Celtic to be on top of their game despite a midweek humbling at the hands of Paris Saint-in.

The Staggies travel to Parkhead tomorrow to face Brendan Rodgers’ side after they were thrashed 5-0 in the Champions League earlier this week.

However McIntyre, whose side sit ninth in the Premiership after just one win so far this season, expects the Hoops to put that result behind them as they return to the domestic competition.

“I don’t think the result on Tuesday makes any difference,” he said. “There would be a good few changes to that team regardless. Brendan has shown that he can make five or six changes and still have the same threat.

“Celtic will put [that loss] behind them, it’s up to us to go there and concentrate on ourselves.

He added: “They will be hurting from the other night, but for me, their determination would have been just the same whether they’d got a positive result or a negative result.”
