Mr Marr had any Scottish views knocked out of him from a young age, growing up imbued with British attitudes that anything Scottish was inferior. His career reflects this background as he’s always championed “Britishness” and been a voice for the establishment.

His parents must have thought that their money on his education was well spent as his career progressed as an establishment voice. They, and we, got what they paid for!
