IF you have ever wanted to know if the Wee Ginger Dug is wee and ginger, and we can assure you the Brexit planners’ new abode will freeze over before we reveal the truth, then come along to a National Roadshow to find out.

You have an opportunity to do so very soon because the countdown is on for the re-start of The National Roadshow which will take place in Falkirk Golf Club on Wednesday, February 20, doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.

The Golf Club is located at Carmuirs, 136 Stirling Road, Camelon, Falkirk. There is good onsite parking and local transport available. The event is free but you might like to let the organiser know you’re coming by e-mailing elr1001@outlook.com.

While entry is free it would be appreciated if people could bring a prize for the raffle if they are able to do so. You can find out more and book at the Eventbrite website.

Apart from the Dug, who is very photographer friendly, Paul Kavanagh will be there to make his points about independence in his usual humorous and friendly fashion. The National’s editor Callum Baird will also be on hand to talk about this newspaper, the only combined daily and Sunday which supports independence.

Just before Christmas, Environment Secretary and former journalist Michael Gove – he’s not always been our biggest fan – complimented the Roadshow concept while attending a journalist’s charity lunch in Glasgow. Come along and see why.
