AS the Autumn SNP conference for 2019 comes to a close, delegates and members alike have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on how the bi-annual event came together.
Here's what people were saying:
Was a delight to relay the #BreakingNews from #snpconf19 to the House of Commons that -

The First Minister has said in Aberdeen that there will be #indyref2 in 2020!! #SNP19
That is probably within 11months.
Huge announcement from FM about a new bill on housing and domestic abuse. Perpetrator should be leaving home rather than victims of domestic abuse. Well done to @DrMarshaScott & all who work tirelessly on this. #SNP19

A great speech from Nicola Sturgeon, the leader that made me decide to join the SNP.

I haven't regretted it since. #SNP19

That was some speech by @nicolasturgeon - watched folk I’ve known for years get to their feet with tears in their eyes, emotion all over their faces. Me too. We are so close. It’s coming. #independence #SNP19

This is a cracking Vaclav Havel quote cited by Nicola Sturgeon:
— Gerry Hassan (@GerryHassan) October 15, 2019
“Vision is not enough. It must be combined with venture. It is not enough to stare up the steps; we must step up the stairs.”
Worthy of assessing all our politics here & elsewhere by such a clarion call. #SNP19
Sturgeon announces plans to establish emergency protective orders to stop women who are victims of domestic violence from losing their homes after leaving their abuser. Great news #SNP19

I could never attend the #SNPconference until Nicola announces #indyref or similar. I know I’m just impatient but the endless chuntering on about it is driving me mad.#Itstime Just Do It Soon Or They’ll Strip Us of Everything We Have, on day one #brexit

Great #SNPconference as always. Thanks @NicolaSturgeon for continuing to make European Scots feel so welcome here! 🏴🇪🇺🎗🙌 pic.twitter.com/RhLrblf7uO

Cannot understand all those folk saying they do not want to listen to our FM who told us a while back we will get an indyref2 . Am really confused with Yes voters at the moment who think we can get indy without the #SNP at the helm.

Standing ovation after standing ovation, as well as throbbing hands from too much clapping - if @NicolaSturgeon isn't an inspiration, I don't know who is! #SNP19 pic.twitter.com/F26HiPZSTe

And then, there was this...
Let me be clear. Scottish Conservatives will not support a request to Westminster for a Section 30 order to hold an independence vote in 2020.
— Jackson Carlaw MSP (@Jackson_Carlaw) October 15, 2019
It’s not going to happen.
We have had our fill of SNP failure. Voting @ScotTories in 2021 will put the people’s business first.
Good luck with that... 😂
Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
