Today's All Under One Banner march in Glasgow took place under clouds and patches of rain, yet thousands of pro-indy activists took to the streets to demonstrate the need for an independent Scotland.
People of all ages joined in, with images shared across social media – making #AUOBGlasgow the top trending tag on Twitter in Glasgow.
Of course, some of those people marching were prominent figures in culture and politics, so here is a list of faces you might know who showed their support:
Humza Yousaf
Scotland's justice minister led the march at the front. He was dressed for the weather and undeterred by the rain.
Rain certainly hasn't dampened our spirits! People as far back as the eye can see. Lots of EU flags here as well as Saltires #indyref2020 pic.twitter.com/9OoOiC0XAn

Margaret Ferrier
The MP for Rutherglen & Hamilton West snapped some brilliant pictures of the Yes Penicuik team during the march. She also shared a picture of her taking a break with [in our opinion] the best Scottish newspaper.
Astounding numbers marching in #Glasgow 4 Independence. I was at the start of #IndyMarch & people were still marching 2 hours later.

The support for Scottish independence has never been more unmistakable. Proven simply by the never ending sea of blue testifies to this. ⠀

Who did you spot on the march? Comment below.
Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
