THE decision by Prince Charles and his entourage to travel to Scotland was disgraceful. When both Scottish and UK Governments are warning people about travelling – and especially running away to their holiday homes and putting extra pressure on rural services – his actions were not just selfish but dangerous.
How many other people has he infected? He should have followed the advice of the government and stayed at home. Surely in his role as a senior member of the royal family he should have led by example and supported the attempts to limit the spread of the virus.

Similarly the nonsense that he met the criteria to be tested is unbelievable. While every other person with suspected coronavirus is only being tested if admitted to hospital, Prince Charles and his wife are being tested, even though its claimed he’s still working “from home”. When NHS and care staff are having difficulties being tested this overpaid, over-privileged parasite jumps the queue.
I never had much respect for the royal family and the actions of Prince Charles further justifies my contempt for the whole lot of them.
