AN Irish Post column that nails the truth about Boris Johnson has gone viral.
The article by Joe Horgan describes the Prime Minister as "incompetent in a way that is astonishing even to those of us who thought he was a mere showman charlatan".

Horgan says the Irish Government has been "been measured, controlled and capable" unlike Westminster.
He spoke of the UK's chaotic approach to stopping the spread of the virus, adding: "[The Irish Government] have made it clear, as to be fair have all parties, that this is not about party politics, this is about life and death.
"It is about following the science and sticking to the facts.
"By contrast Johnson told you one week to carry on, everything would be fine, and the following week to not step outside the door ... Looking across the Irish Sea I find myself thinking surely now, surely the British can see how they’ve been hoodwinked.
"For a man so fond of wartime imagery there is one that seems to fit him.
"An image from WW1 that was used to describe British soldiers in the trenches and the generals that ordered them to their deaths. Lions led by donkeys."

Horgan also hit out at Boris Johnson's initial "herd immunity" strategy that would aim for 60% of the UK population to get the virus, saying it "seemed willing to sacrifice thousands of you only for him to turn around in the middle of no man’s land and run for cover".
"Of all the European leaders he has looked the most out of his depth, the most shallow, and vacuous. These are dark times and rambling verbal buffoonery looks as essentially useless as it essentially is," he continued.
Scotland is in lockdown. Shops are closing and newspaper sales are falling fast. It’s no exaggeration to say that the future of The National is at stake. Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
Callum Baird, Editor of The National
