Chris Grayling surpassed expectations this week in his latest instance of 'failing'
WHILE admittedly gilding the lily and over-egging the pudding, I have to take my hat off to Chris Grayling. He has surpassed my expectations as a master of the incompetent by failing in absentia to be elected to the chair of a rigged committee.
What on earth were the dynamic duo of Cummings and Johnson thinking of?
Perhaps the guru of gaffs, shooting off the scale of known haplessness was an attempt to make a chump out of his bosses in No 10. Maybe he felt inhibited by the idea of chairing a committee with the word intelligence in it.
Whatever new adventures await, he’ll always have the honorary title in Scotland of a doaty bampot.
