UP to 50 firefighters are tackling a fire at a trading estate in Fife.

Nine fire engines, two height vehicles and other resources went to the scene in Cupar, where the alarm was raised at 10.23am today.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said people have been evacuated from all surrounding buildings.

There are no reports of any injuries.

An SFRS spokesman said: "We were alerted at 10.23am, Tuesday July 21, to reports of a fire within a building at Cupar Trading Estate, Fife.

"Operations control has mobilised nine fire appliances, two height vehicles and a number of specialist resources to the scene where firefighters are working to extinguish the flames."

He added: "Crews will remain in attendance for some time."
