ANOTHER 51 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Scotland, the Government has confirmed.

No more deaths were recorded, meaning the total among those who tested positive remains 2491.

Last night, 244 people were in hospital with confirmed Covid-19.

Of those, three were in intensive care.

Of the 15,323 people tested in the past 24 hours, 1.1% were found to have the virus.

First Minister Nicola Sturgeon commented: "Prevalence across Scotland remains low – and thankfully, another day of no deaths amongst confirmed cases. But these figures also tell us that the virus is most definitely still out there – so please be ultra-careful and follow all the #FACTS advice."
