PRIMAL Scream have announced their support for indyref2, saying they want to "see a real plan for the future".
The Scottish rock band announced the news on their Twitter account.
They said: "Scottish independence is coming. We support it. Would love to see a real plan for the future. A radical plan. Way to the left of the SNP. But remember, the E.U. is a neo-liberal construct. It won't be easy. Ask the Greeks."

Bobby Gillespie, the band's frontman, has previously been critical of Scottish independence. In 2013, he told the Daily Record that Alex Salmond's vision of an independent Scotland is a dangerous power-grab.
But he admitted being married to an Englishwoman, Katy, and living in London, removed him from the forefront of the issue in the lead up to the 2014 referendum.
âI canât look in terms of Scotland. Itâs bigger than that,â he told the paper.
âPeople in Liverpool have been hammered, Manchester and Southampton. All over.
âEverybody has been hammered, not just the Scottish.
âWe canât be nationalistic about it. Nationalism has never done it for me. It leads to fascism.
âUltimately, someone like Alex Salmond manipulates peopleâs national pride and insecurities but he is obviously a power-mad kind of guy.â
It comes as the 20th poll in a row showed a majority support (52%) for Yes.
It also revealed a majority of Scots (50%) also want a referendum to be held in the next parliamentary term at Holyrood, with 43% opposed to that idea.

The poll puts the independence vote on 49%, with 7% of voters undecided. With the donât knows removed, thatâs a 52% to 48% majority.
Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. Weâve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who arenât really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So thatâs why weâve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate â and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about â people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Letâs get that debate started!
