SCOTLAND has recorded no deaths of coronavirus patients for the third day in a row, but Scots are being advised to keep to the guidance.
The number of people who have died after testing positive for Covid-19 in Scotland remains at 7584 as no new deaths were recorded over the weekend and today.
It is noted in the official Scottish Government figures that Registers Offices are now generally closed at the weekends, so this can impact the number of deaths reported.
There were 352 new positive tests recorded in the past 24 hours a reduction from yesterday's figure of 422. However, the test positivity rate rose from 2.6% on Sunday to 3.2% today.
A total of 12,456 tests for Covid-19 that reported a result were recorded.
Since the start of the pandemic, a total of 1,810,709 people in Scotland have been tested at least once.
Of those, 217,479 have tested positive and 1,593,230 were confirmed negative.
Despite no new deaths being recorded for three days straight, Nicola Sturgeon has reminded Scots to continue to follow the current rules.
She tweeted: "Please stick to all the public health advice so we can continue to make progress."

It comes as a YouGov poll for the Scottish Government found that 33% of Scots have admitted flouting coronavirus rules.
Sturgeon said that the numbers are down but Covid "is not out".
In terms of the number of people in hospital with recently confirmed coronavirus, the figure fell by five to 259 patients.
There was no change in the number of people in intensive care, which remains at 22.
A total of 2,409,826 people have received their first dose of a coronavirus vaccine, a rise of 24,117, and 326,263 have received their second dose, up by 13,943.
Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
