SCOTLAND has recorded 292 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, according to the latest government statistics.
The figures also show that no further deaths linked to Covid have been recorded in the last day.
This means that the total death tally under that measure, of people who have died within 28 days of testing positive for Covid-19, remains at 7664.

The Scottish Government figures show that 16,003 new tests for Covid-19 reported results in the last 24 hours. Of these, 2.0% were positive.
Across Scotland yesterday, 64 people were in hospital with recently confirmed Covid-19. Of these, three were in intensive care.
In terms of the vaccine roll-out, 3,020,335 people in Scotland have received the first dose of the Covid jag.
The figures show that a total of 1,621,031 people have also received their second dose.
