MOTORIST have been urged to stay away from a busy junction on the M8 after an early morning crash.
The road was shut on from West Ferry to the St James Interchange following a one vehicle collision near junction 31.

Drivers were asked to avoid the area as local diversions were put in place with emergency services on the scene.
The eastbound carriageway has since been reopened.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that up to eight people could be injured.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they were in attendance.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police were called around 5.05am following the report of a one vehicle road crash on the M8 Westbound and junction 31.
"Officers are in attendance and the road is currently closed westbound. The eastbound carriageway has now reopened.
"Enquiries are currently ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident."
