PRINCE Andrew is still at Balmoral despite the birth of his daughter Princess Beatrice’s first child, according to reports.
Andrew’s daughter Beatrice gave birth on Saturday, a few months on from her younger sister Eugenie’s baby son being born.

Sarah, Duchess of York – Andrew’s ex-wife – had been with Andrew at the royal family’s Scottish residence, but left at the weekend to be with Beatrice and her new granddaughter.
Andrew has been at the Aberdeenshire residence for a few weeks, leaving for the estate days before the first hearing into the sex assault claim brought against him by Virginia Roberts Giuffre. Andrew vehemently denies the allegations.
Last night Giuffre’s legal team claimed that the duke had been served with the lawsuit, with the paperwork delivered to his lawyer in the US.
Her lawyers said earlier this month the duke had officially been served, but his legal team disputed the claim.
One source told The Sun that they didn’t know when Andrew would be coming back to Windsor.
“Andrew has made it quite clear that he wasn't leaving Balmoral,” they said. “It would appear the advice to him was to stay in hiding and miss the whole thing.”
At the weekend, Princess Beatrice and husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi (above) shared their delight after the arrival of their daughter.
Her mother Sarah was described by a family friend as being “absolutely over the moon”.
Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
