Glasgow is set to host COP26 in November, an event which will see leaders from around the world descend on Scotland's largest city.
The climate change conference will bring together countries from around the world to create a plan to tackle global warming.
This year's conference is particularly important as it will see nations review their approach to climate change and establish new goals and targets.
It means that some of the world's most influential leaders and officials will attend the 12-day conference which will take place at the Scottish Event Campus.
Here are all the confirmed attendees so far...
Who will attend COP26?
COP26 will see some of the world's most influential leaders come together under one roof in Glasgow.
As the event draws nearer, more people are expected to confirm their attendance with Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison already suggesting he may not travel to November's conference.
Here's who you can expect to see in Glasgow for COP26:
Joe Biden
Joe Biden is perhaps the biggest name to travel to COP26, making it his first trip to Scotland as US President.
It comes after he re-joined the Paris agreement on his first day in office following Donald Trump's withdrawl in 2020.
The Queen
The Queen will attend COP26 as the head of state for the UK.
A regular visitor to Scotland, the Queen will represent the UK at the conference as she did earlier in the year at the G7 summit.
Boris Johnson
UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson will be in attendance and has previously highlighted the UK's important role in hosting the conference.
"It’s a huge undertaking by the whole of the UK," said the Prime Minister.
"Every part of the UK is now working together. What we’ve got to do is, we’ve got to lead the world to get everybody to commit to net zero by 2050."
Nicola Sturgeon
Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon will of course be at COP26, and will, according to Boris Johnson, play a key role in the event.
Emmanuel Macron
UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson confirmed he would look forward to welcoming French President Emmanuel Macron to COP26 in November.
Sir David Attenborough
Well known climate activist and national treasure David Attenborough will be in Glasgow for the conference and plays a vital role as the COP26 People's Advocate.
Prince Charles
The Prince of Wales will join his mother in attending COP26 in Glasgow this year.
It's a matter close to his heart, with Charles a known environmentalist.
Greta Thunberg
The climate activist is now expected to attend the summit depsite earlier hesitations.
Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
