Scotland records 17 Covid deaths and more than 2500 new cases
ANOTHER 17 people have died in Scotland after contracting Covid-19, new daily figures show.
A further 2527 case were also registered in the past 24 hours, with a positivity rate of 11.6% – up from 11.4% on Monday.
The deaths, among people who tested positive in the previous 28 days, bring the total under this measure to 9495.
Some 743 people with recently confirmed Covid were in hospital, a decrease of seven.
Of those patients, 60 were in intensive care, up by one.
A total of 4,340,162 people have received their first dose of a vaccination, 3,940,314 have received their second and 1,469,423 have received a third or booster.
