The road trip route through central Scotland takes you through iconic scenery, gorgeous views and showcases some of the very best Scotland has to offer.

Fans of the North Coast 500 will be excited to see a route where you can explore even more of Scotland’s terrain - and for those who haven’t embarked on the former, Heart 200 offers a more accessible and shorter route through the very heart of Scotland. Perfect for a long weekend or the upcoming Easter holidays. 

The route covers 200 miles through Perth, Stirling, The Trossachs and Highland Perthshire - stopping at gorgeous sights such as Loch Lomond and the Cairngorms on the way.

You can cover the route in 2 to 3 days, but if you really want to take your time and soak in all the sights on offer, it is recommended to give yourself 3 to 4 days to explore.

Considered the "greatest walk in Perthshire", this series of iconic waterfalls are a must see on your roadtrip. They moved Robert Burns to poetry back in 1787, when he penned the poem "Humble Petition of the Bruar Water" after visiting the scene.

CAIRNGORM NATIONAL PARK

Taking the title of the UK's largest national park, and named by National Geographic as one of the 20 top spots to visit in the world, the Cairngorm Natioanl Park is well worth a stop on your journey. The breathtaking lochs, moorland and mountain landscapes are a sight to behold all year round.
