LEGENDARY rapper and Celtic fan Snoop Dogg is ready to jet to Glasgow for an “epic title celebration party” as he plans a wild night in honour of Postecoglou’s men in hoops.
The superstar says the “passport is out the safe” as anticipation of silverware ramps up in the last five games of the premiership season.
For his planned celebrations, the Doggystyle rapper has promised to splurge on the finest drinks and even a slap-up curry for all his guests.
Speaking to the Daily Record, Snoop said: “The night is going to go off and whatever they want to do, it’s all going to be on Snoop.
“The champagne is going to be out and we are going to get it poppin’.
“For real, I love Indian food and always get the best curry in the UK.
"So if there are any good Indian restaurants in Glasgow, we can start the night there and I will hire out the whole place.”
However, Snoop also noted that Celtic weren’t over the line in the title race yet but that their recent win over Rangers had them in a good spot.
He said: “My Bhoys are not there yet but after their win against Rangers, they are getting close to winning the championship.
“Snoop hasn’t booked his ticket just yet but the passport is out of the safe
“As soon as they are champions, you better believe I am on that flight to Glasgow.”
The Los Angeles-based hip-hop star’s love of Celtic first came to light when he was photographed in a hoops jersey back in 2005 and has since spoken of his interest in buying shares in the club.
Whether he makes it for any title celebrations in May or not, Glasgow is set to play host to the star in August when he performs at the Hydro.
Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
