2022 is flying by and with only a handful of Scotland bank holidays left to enjoy, it's time we made the most of them.
Every year, hard-working Scots get a handful of days off thanks to bank holidays.
Normally, we get to enjoy nine glorious days a year but in 2022 we have been treated to an extra date to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
But how long do we have to wait until the next one and how can we make the most of it?
UK Bank Holidays to look forward to in 2022
When is the next Bank Holiday in Scotland?
The next Scottish Bank Holiday is still a while away we're afraid.
Scots will need to wait until November 30 - the day used to celebrate our Patron Saint St Andrew.
Meanwhile, those in the rest of the UK will get to enjoy a summer bank holiday very soon on August 29 but then will need to wait until December for another.
We have already had our summer bank holiday earlier this month - August 1 - although that already feels like a distant memory now.

Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
Callum Baird, Editor of The National
