A RETAIL giant has confirmed when it will close two of its stores near Glasgow.

We previously reported that M&Co, which was founded in Paisley in 1961, had gone into administration.

We then told that it planned to close all 170 stores in the UK, including around 50 in Scotland, with an expected loss of around 2000 jobs.

Now the official closing dates for the stores in Kirkintilloch and Milngavie have been confirmed.

The Kirkintilloch shop will close on Saturday, April 22, while the Milngavie store will shut on Thursday, April 20.
