ONE reader recently got in touch to suggest now is the time for people to send in their anecdotes about the heroic Winnie Ewing.
Tributes from politicians were paid to the late SNP MP, MEP and MSP at a memorial service on Saturday, and we want to hear your memories and tributes too.
We have already received quite a few. You may have campaigned alongside Winnie, or for her, chapping on doors and organising events. You may have been inspired to get involved by watching her rousing speeches, or she may have persuaded you to vote Yes.
Whatever your connection to Madame Ecosse, we want to include it in a series sharing moments held dear to independence supporters, and show how we can all learn from Winnie's legacy.

Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
